### sec.48 Application of directives to transferring employees
This section applies if an existing directive applied to a transferring employee immediately before the commencement.
The existing directive continues to apply to the transferring employee until the directive is revoked or replaced by a directive made after the commencement.
To the extent a change to the existing directive takes effect after the commencement, the change applies for the purposes of the directive’s application under subsection (2).
The Public Sector Act 2022 , sections 228 and 229, apply in relation to the existing directive.
In this section—
directive see the Public Sector Act 2022 , schedule 2.
existing directive means—
a directive; or
a continued directive under the Public Sector Act 2022 , section 307 or 308.
(sec.48-ssec.1) This section applies if an existing directive applied to a transferring employee immediately before the commencement.
(sec.48-ssec.2) The existing directive continues to apply to the transferring employee until the directive is revoked or replaced by a directive made after the commencement.
(sec.48-ssec.3) To the extent a change to the existing directive takes effect after the commencement, the change applies for the purposes of the directive’s application under subsection (2).
(sec.48-ssec.4) The Public Sector Act 2022 , sections 228 and 229, apply in relation to the existing directive.
(sec.48-ssec.5) In this section— directive see the Public Sector Act 2022 , schedule 2. existing directive means— a directive; or a continued directive under the Public Sector Act 2022 , section 307 or 308.
