### sec.30 Staff of commission The commission may employ the staff it considers appropriate to perform its functions. Staff are to be employed under this Act and not the Public Sector Act 2022 . A staff member is not subject to direction by any person, other than a commissioner or a person authorised by a commissioner, about the way in which the commission’s functions are to be performed.
