### sec.10 Duration of appointment A member is appointed for the term (not more than 3 years) stated in the member’s instrument of appointment. The office of a member becomes vacant if— the member resigns by signed notice given to the Minister; or the person is not eligible to be appointed as a member; or the member’s appointment is ended under subsection (3) .
