### sec.68 Savings as to Commonwealth powers Nothing in this Act affects the powers of the Commonwealth in respect of the matter of air transport referred to the Parliament of the Commonwealth by the Commonwealth Powers (Air Transport) Act 1950 , and, without limiting the generality of the foregoing, nothing in this Act shall be construed as authorising the board to— operate an air transport business or an air service for the carriage of passengers or cargo; or own, lease, or operate aircraft (other than for the purposes of this Act); or control the taking off, landing or flight of aircraft. s 68 prev s 68 amd 1985 No. 65 s 32 ; 1995 No. 58 s 4 sch 1 om 1997 No. 79 s 49 pres s 68 ins 1985 No. 65 s 33 - (a) operate an air transport business or an air service for the carriage of passengers or cargo; or - (b) own, lease, or operate aircraft (other than for the purposes of this Act); or - (c) control the taking off, landing or flight of aircraft.
