### sec.65 Reward for information
The board may offer and pay a reward to a person who gives the board information about an offence it believes or suspects is committed in relation to its property or property in its possession.
If a court finds a person guilty of the offence and the board has paid, or agreed to pay, the reward for information about the offence, the court may order the person to pay to the board the amount of the reward.
The amount is a debt owing by the person to the board.
Subsection (2) —
applies whether or not a conviction is recorded; and
does not limit the court’s jurisdiction to impose a penalty or make another order for the offence.
