sec.41Ownership of intellectual property

### sec.41 Ownership of intellectual property This section applies in relation to intellectual property produced— by a staff member of the institute or a researcher; and in the course of performing functions of the staff member or researcher under this Act. Subject to any other Act or an arrangement between the staff member or researcher and the council, ownership of the intellectual property vests in the council. (sec.41-ssec.1) This section applies in relation to intellectual property produced— by a staff member of the institute or a researcher; and in the course of performing functions of the staff member or researcher under this Act. (sec.41-ssec.2) Subject to any other Act or an arrangement between the staff member or researcher and the council, ownership of the intellectual property vests in the council. - (a) by a staff member of the institute or a researcher; and - (b) in the course of performing functions of the staff member or researcher under this Act.
