### sec.20 Casual vacancy in tribunal member’s office If a vacancy happens in the office of a member (the vacating member ) during the currency of the member’s term of appointment, another person (the new member ) must be appointed by the Governor in Council to fill the vacancy. Despite section 12 (1) , the new member’s appointment continues only for the remainder of the vacating member’s term of appointment. The new member must be eligible for appointment under section 11 .
