### sec.54 Notice of council’s decision
Immediately after making a decision on a heritage recommendation, the council must advise the chief executive of the decision, the reasons for the decision and the day it was made.
Within 10 business days after receiving the advice, the chief executive must—
publish the decision, and notice of the day it was made, in the gazette; and
give notice of the decision and the reasons for it to—
the applicant for the application to which the heritage recommendation relates; and
if the applicant is not the owner of the place the subject of the application—the owner; and
if the applicant is not the local government for the area in which the place is situated—the local government; and
any other person or entity, if the person or entity gave the chief executive a heritage submission for the application.
If the council’s decision on a heritage recommendation is a decision mentioned in section 53 (3) (a) or (b) , or (4)(a) or (b), the notice given under subsection (2) (b) to the owner of the place must be accompanied by an information notice about the decision.

(sec.54-ssec.3) If the council’s decision on a heritage recommendation is a decision mentioned in section 53 (3) (a) or (b) , or (4)(a) or (b), the notice given under subsection (2) (b) to the owner of the place must be accompanied by an information notice about the decision.
- (a) publish the decision, and notice of the day it was made, in the gazette; and
- (b) give notice of the decision and the reasons for it to— (i) the applicant for the application to which the heritage recommendation relates; and (ii) if the applicant is not the owner of the place the subject of the application—the owner; and (iii) if the applicant is not the local government for the area in which the place is situated—the local government; and (iv) any other person or entity, if the person or entity gave the chief executive a heritage submission for the application.
- (i) the applicant for the application to which the heritage recommendation relates; and
- (ii) if the applicant is not the owner of the place the subject of the application—the owner; and
- (iii) if the applicant is not the local government for the area in which the place is situated—the local government; and
