### sec.13B Criminal history is confidential
A person must not, directly or indirectly, disclose to anyone else a report about a person’s criminal history or information contained in the report given under section 13A , unless the disclosure is permitted under subsection (2) .
Maximum penalty—50 penalty units.
The person may make the disclosure to someone else—
to the extent necessary to perform the person’s functions under this Act; or
for the purpose of the other person performing a function under this Act; or
if the disclosure is authorised under an Act; or
if the disclosure is otherwise required or permitted by law; or
if the person to whom the information relates consents to the disclosure.
