### sec.205 Giving information and documents to authority
For an arbitration hearing, the member presiding at the hearing may, by written notice given to an officer of a government agency or to another person, require the officer or other person to do either or both of the following—
give a statement setting out stated information to the authority on or before a stated day;
produce a stated document to the authority on or before a stated day.
The day stated in the notice for subsection (1) (a) or (b) must be reasonable.
The person to whom the notice is given must comply with the notice to the extent to which the person is able to comply with it, unless the person has a reasonable excuse.
Maximum penalty—1,000 penalty units or 1 year’s imprisonment.
It is a reasonable excuse for a person to fail to comply with the notice if complying with the notice might tend to incriminate the person.
