### sec.187H General procedures
In a mediation conference, the mediator—
must act with as little formality as possible; and
is not bound by technicalities, legal forms or rules of evidence; and
may inform himself, herself or themselves on any matter relevant to the mediation in any way the mediator considers appropriate; and
must comply with natural justice.
For subsection (1) (c) , the mediator may consult with persons as the mediator considers appropriate.
