### sec.62 Existing competencies of persons to hold technical qualifications—sprinkler and suppression systems (reticulated water-based)—inspect and test This section applies if an applicant— has satisfactorily completed the following competencies— Test fire protection systems for pressure BCPFS2005A; Test and maintain automatic fire sprinklers BCPFS3009A; and gives the commission evidence that— the applicant was employed, before 1 January 2009, in the fire protection industry; and the applicant’s duties in that employment included the inspection and testing of sprinkler and suppression systems. The applicant is taken to hold the technical qualifications for a fire protection occupational licence in the class of sprinkler and suppression systems (reticulated water-based)—inspect and test. (sec.62-ssec.1) This section applies if an applicant— has satisfactorily completed the following competencies— Test fire protection systems for pressure BCPFS2005A; Test and maintain automatic fire sprinklers BCPFS3009A; and gives the commission evidence that— the applicant was employed, before 1 January 2009, in the fire protection industry; and the applicant’s duties in that employment included the inspection and testing of sprinkler and suppression systems.
