### sec.74AZD Notice required before publishing warning statement
Before publishing the warning statement, the Minister must—
give each person in the chain of responsibility for the building product whose identity is known or reasonably ascertainable by the Minister written notice of the following—
the Minister’s intention to publish the warning statement;
the reasons for publishing the statement; and
give the person a copy of the proposed warning statement; and
ask the person to show cause why the Minister should not publish the warning statement.
If the person wishes to show cause why the warning statement should not be published, the person may make written submissions to the Minister within 7 days after receiving the notice and copy of the proposed warning statement.
The Minister must consider any written submissions made by the person within the period mentioned in subsection (2) before publishing the warning statement.
