### sec.53C Advertising by unlicensed person
A person who does not hold a contractor’s licence must not publish an advertisement that the person is available to carry out building work unless the advertisement complies with this section.
The advertisement must state the value of the work the person is entitled to carry out without a licence.
Maximum penalty—100 penalty units.
A regulation may prescribe the following for an advertisement under this section—
the way the advertisement is to be presented;
the words to be included in the advertisement.
In this section—
building work includes building work of any value, despite any regulation excluding building work of a stated value from the definition building work for this Act.
