### sec.108A Documents that must be kept for 7 years
Subsection (2) applies to the following documents—
a building contract entered into by a building contractor and the plans, specifications and variations relating to the contract;
a building contractor’s financial records relevant to the minimum financial requirements for the licence held by the building contractor.
The contractor must keep each document for 7 years from the date it is put into writing.
Maximum penalty—100 penalty units.

(sec.108A-ssec.1) Subsection (2) applies to the following documents— a building contract entered into by a building contractor and the plans, specifications and variations relating to the contract; a building contractor’s financial records relevant to the minimum financial requirements for the licence held by the building contractor.
(sec.108A-ssec.2) The contractor must keep each document for 7 years from the date it is put into writing. Maximum penalty—100 penalty units.

- (b) a building contractor’s financial records relevant to the minimum financial requirements for the licence held by the building contractor.
