### sec.31 Workers are to be married couple
It is not unlawful for a person to discriminate on the basis of relationship status—
in the arrangements made for deciding who should be offered work; or
in deciding who should be offered work; or
in the terms of work that is offered; or
in failing to offer work; or
in dismissing a worker;
if—
the work is for one of 2 positions that the person wants held concurrently by—
a married couple; or
2 persons each of whom is the de facto partner of the other; or
2 persons each of whom is the civil partner of the other; and
the workers are required to live in accommodation supplied by the person.

- (a) in the arrangements made for deciding who should be offered work; or
- (b) in deciding who should be offered work; or
- (c) in the terms of work that is offered; or
- (d) in failing to offer work; or
- (e) in dismissing a worker;
- (f) the work is for one of 2 positions that the person wants held concurrently by— (i) a married couple; or (ii) 2 persons each of whom is the de facto partner of the other; or (iii) 2 persons each of whom is the civil partner of the other; and
- (i) a married couple; or
- (ii) 2 persons each of whom is the de facto partner of the other; or
- (iii) 2 persons each of whom is the civil partner of the other; and
- (g) the workers are required to live in accommodation supplied by the person.
- (i) a married couple; or
- (ii) 2 persons each of whom is the de facto partner of the other; or
- (iii) 2 persons each of whom is the civil partner of the other; and
