### sec.88 Declaration of interests—public sector employee
A public sector employee’s chief executive may direct the employee to prepare and give the chief executive a statement about the employee’s interests.
The statement must include the information required under a directive made by the commissioner.
Subsection (4) applies if—
a change to the employee’s interests happens after the giving of the statement; and
the change is of a type prescribed under a directive made by the commissioner; and
the chief executive has directed the employee to give the chief executive a revised version of the statement, including the change, within a stated period or at a stated interval.
The employee must give the revised version of the statement, including the change, to the chief executive within the stated period or at the stated interval.
A reference to a public sector employee in this section does not include a reference to a chief executive of a public sector entity.
(sec.88-ssec.1) A public sector employee’s chief executive may direct the employee to prepare and give the chief executive a statement about the employee’s interests.
(sec.88-ssec.2) The statement must include the information required under a directive made by the commissioner.

(sec.88-ssec.4) The employee must give the revised version of the statement, including the change, to the chief executive within the stated period or at the stated interval.
(sec.88-ssec.5) A reference to a public sector employee in this section does not include a reference to a chief executive of a public sector entity.
- (a) a change to the employee’s interests happens after the giving of the statement; and
- (b) the change is of a type prescribed under a directive made by the commissioner; and
- (c) the chief executive has directed the employee to give the chief executive a revised version of the statement, including the change, within a stated period or at a stated interval.
