### sec.58 Chief executive must ensure person holds working with children authority The chief executive of a public sector entity must ensure a person does not perform a child-related duty in the entity unless— the person holds a working with children authority; or if the person is a police officer or registered teacher—the person has made a working with children check (exemption) application under the Working with Children Check Act 2000 .
