### sec.8I Relevant person must end terrorist emergency in particular circumstances
A relevant person must end the terrorist emergency as soon as the relevant person is satisfied it is no longer necessary for police officers to continue to exercise terrorist emergency powers to protect—
life or health at serious risk; or
critical infrastructure.
If a relevant person ends a terrorist emergency, the terrorist emergency forward commander must as soon as practicable—
inform police officers of the ending; and
notify the date and time of the ending by gazette notice; and
comply with section 8J .
A regulation made under section 8HA expires when the terrorist emergency ends.
In this section—
relevant person means the terrorist emergency commander, the Minister or the Premier.

(sec.8I-ssec.1) A relevant person must end the terrorist emergency as soon as the relevant person is satisfied it is no longer necessary for police officers to continue to exercise terrorist emergency powers to protect— life or health at serious risk; or critical infrastructure.

- (a) life or health at serious risk; or
- (b) critical infrastructure.
