### sec.50 Public Records Review Committee
The Minister must establish a Public Records Review Committee (the committee ).
The committee is to consist of the following members—
1 person nominated by the Minister administering the Local Government Act 2009 ;
1 person nominated by the Chief Justice;
1 person nominated by the Minister administering the Public Sector Act 2022 ;
1 person, nominated by the Minister, who is appropriately qualified in relation to the management of records;
1 Aboriginal person, nominated by the Minister administering the Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Act 2003 , who is appropriately qualified;
1 Torres Strait Islander person, nominated by the Minister administering the Torres Strait Islander Cultural Heritage Act 2003 , who is appropriately qualified;
3 other persons, nominated by the Minister, who are appropriately qualified.
A committee member may be paid the remuneration and allowances decided by the Governor in Council.
