### sec.24 Use of evidence before court of trial
Where an application under section 7 (1) is made in respect of a convicted person, the registrar of the court before which the convicted person was convicted shall cause to be made and furnished to the registrar of the Supreme Court, for use by the judge hearing the application, a transcript of the shorthand notes or record of evidence or statements of fact adduced or made to the court before which the convicted person was convicted.
A document purporting to be the transcript referred to in subsection (2) shall be, in the proceedings upon the application under section 7 (1) , evidence and, in the absence of evidence to the contrary, conclusive evidence of all matters contained therein.
