### sec.8 Meaning of chief executive officer
The chief executive officer of a public sector entity includes, if the entity is listed in schedule 1 , a person mentioned in the schedule as chief executive officer of the entity.
A regulation may prescribe a person who is to be treated as a chief executive officer of a particular public sector entity for all or particular public interest disclosures.
A regulation under subsection (2) may not prescribe a chief executive officer for a public sector entity mentioned in schedule 1 , other than a part of a department.
(sec.8-ssec.1) The chief executive officer of a public sector entity includes, if the entity is listed in schedule 1 , a person mentioned in the schedule as chief executive officer of the entity.
(sec.8-ssec.2) A regulation may prescribe a person who is to be treated as a chief executive officer of a particular public sector entity for all or particular public interest disclosures.
(sec.8-ssec.3) A regulation under subsection (2) may not prescribe a chief executive officer for a public sector entity mentioned in schedule 1 , other than a part of a department.
