### sec.62 Decision about application for replacement of licence
The local government must consider the application and either grant, or refuse to grant, the application.
The local government must grant the application if the local government is satisfied the licence has been destroyed, lost or stolen, or damaged in a way to require its replacement.
If the local government decides to grant the application, the local government must, as soon as practicable, issue another licence to the applicant to replace the damaged, destroyed, lost or stolen licence.
If the local government decides to refuse to grant the application, the local government must immediately give the applicant an information notice for the decision.
(sec.62-ssec.1) The local government must consider the application and either grant, or refuse to grant, the application.
