### sec.156 Effect of registration of an establishment providing higher risk personal appearance services under pt 15 of the former regulation
This section applies if—
a person is the proprietor of an establishment ( the premises ) registered under part 15 of the former regulation immediately before the commencement; and
services being provided at the premises are higher risk personal appearance services.
On the commencement, the registration is taken to be a licence issued to the person to carry on business providing higher risk personal appearance services from the premises under this Act (a continued licence ).
Subject to this part, a continued licence remains in force for the remainder of the period of the registration under the former regulation.
Subsection (2) applies to a registration under part 15 of the former regulation even if the registration was suspended at the commencement.
However, the suspension is taken to continue as a suspension of the continued licence.
(sec.156-ssec.1) This section applies if— a person is the proprietor of an establishment ( the premises ) registered under part 15 of the former regulation immediately before the commencement; and services being provided at the premises are higher risk personal appearance services.
