### sec.92 Appointment conditions and limit on powers
A contact tracing officer holds office on the conditions stated in—
the instrument under which the contact tracing officer is appointed; or
a signed notice given to the contact tracing officer; or
a regulation.
The instrument of appointment or a signed notice given to a contact tracing officer or a regulation may limit the contact tracing officer’s powers under this part.
In this section—
signed notice means a notice signed by the chief executive.
(sec.92-ssec.1) A contact tracing officer holds office on the conditions stated in— the instrument under which the contact tracing officer is appointed; or a signed notice given to the contact tracing officer; or a regulation.
(sec.92-ssec.2) The instrument of appointment or a signed notice given to a contact tracing officer or a regulation may limit the contact tracing officer’s powers under this part.
(sec.92-ssec.3) In this section— signed notice means a notice signed by the chief executive.
- (a) the instrument under which the contact tracing officer is appointed; or
- (b) a signed notice given to the contact tracing officer; or
- (c) a regulation.
