### sec.454J Requirement for annual compliance certificate
The chief executive officer of a local government may give the chief executive a certificate (an annual compliance certificate ) for a year about the local government’s compliance with the indemnity conditions for 1 or more asbestos-related events that happened during the year.
The annual compliance certificate for a year must be—
in the approved form; and
signed by the chief executive officer; and
verified by statutory declaration.
In this section—
approved form means a form approved by the chief executive.

(sec.454J-ssec.1) The chief executive officer of a local government may give the chief executive a certificate (an annual compliance certificate ) for a year about the local government’s compliance with the indemnity conditions for 1 or more asbestos-related events that happened during the year.
(sec.454J-ssec.2) The annual compliance certificate for a year must be— in the approved form; and signed by the chief executive officer; and verified by statutory declaration.
(sec.454J-ssec.3) In this section— approved form means a form approved by the chief executive.
- (a) in the approved form; and
- (b) signed by the chief executive officer; and
- (c) verified by statutory declaration.
