### sec.187 Repealed s 232 (Duration of appointment)
This section applies if—
the chief executive has, by written notice under repealed section 232(4), suspended the appointment of a person as a community visitor; and
the suspension is in force immediately before the commencement.
The suspension continues to have effect according to its terms as if the community visitor were a community visitor (adult) under this Act and the person’s appointment had been suspended by the public guardian under section 113(4).
The person’s suspension is to be dealt with under this Act.
(sec.187-ssec.1) This section applies if— the chief executive has, by written notice under repealed section 232(4), suspended the appointment of a person as a community visitor; and the suspension is in force immediately before the commencement.
(sec.187-ssec.2) The suspension continues to have effect according to its terms as if the community visitor were a community visitor (adult) under this Act and the person’s appointment had been suspended by the public guardian under section 113(4).
(sec.187-ssec.3) The person’s suspension is to be dealt with under this Act.
- (a) the chief executive has, by written notice under repealed section 232(4), suspended the appointment of a person as a community visitor; and
- (b) the suspension is in force immediately before the commencement.
