### sec.236 Transitional regulation-making power
A regulation (a transitional regulation ) may make provision of a saving or transitional nature about any matter—
for which it is necessary to make provision to allow or facilitate the doing of anything to achieve the transition from the repealed Property Law Act 1974 to this Act; and
for which this Act or a regulation does not make provision or sufficient provision.
A transitional regulation may have retrospective operation to a day that is not earlier than the day this section commences.
A transitional regulation must declare it is a transitional regulation.
This section and any transitional regulation expire 2 years after this section commences.

(sec.236-ssec.1) A regulation (a transitional regulation ) may make provision of a saving or transitional nature about any matter— for which it is necessary to make provision to allow or facilitate the doing of anything to achieve the transition from the repealed Property Law Act 1974 to this Act; and for which this Act or a regulation does not make provision or sufficient provision.
(sec.236-ssec.2) A transitional regulation may have retrospective operation to a day that is not earlier than the day this section commences.
(sec.236-ssec.3) A transitional regulation must declare it is a transitional regulation.
(sec.236-ssec.4) This section and any transitional regulation expire 2 years after this section commences.
- (a) for which it is necessary to make provision to allow or facilitate the doing of anything to achieve the transition from the repealed Property Law Act 1974 to this Act; and
- (b) for which this Act or a regulation does not make provision or sufficient provision.
