### sec.226 Registrar must give public notice if registrar believes land unregistered
This section applies if—
the registrar believes land is not included in the land registry; and
a request in relation to the land has not been made under section 225 .
The registrar must give public notice of the registrar’s intention to include the land in the land registry.
The registrar may decide—
what is to be included in the public notice; and
how many times the public notice is to be published; and
how and when the public notice is to be published.
The public notice must include an invitation to any person who claims an interest in the land to give notice of the person’s claim to the registrar within 2 months after the public notice is published.
(sec.226-ssec.1) This section applies if— the registrar believes land is not included in the land registry; and a request in relation to the land has not been made under section 225 .
(sec.226-ssec.2) The registrar must give public notice of the registrar’s intention to include the land in the land registry.
(sec.226-ssec.3) The registrar may decide— what is to be included in the public notice; and how many times the public notice is to be published; and how and when the public notice is to be published.
(sec.226-ssec.4) The public notice must include an invitation to any person who claims an interest in the land to give notice of the person’s claim to the registrar within 2 months after the public notice is published.
