### sec.225 Registrar must give public notice if request to register unregistered land
This section applies if—
a person asks the registrar to register an instrument relating to land; and
the registrar believes the land is not included in the land registry.
The registrar must give public notice of the request.
The registrar may decide—
what is to be included in the public notice; and
how many times the public notice is to be published; and
how and when the public notice is to be published.
The public notice must include an invitation to any person who claims an interest in the land to give notice of the person’s claim to the registrar within 2 months after the public notice is published.
(sec.225-ssec.1) This section applies if— a person asks the registrar to register an instrument relating to land; and the registrar believes the land is not included in the land registry.
(sec.225-ssec.2) The registrar must give public notice of the request.
(sec.225-ssec.3) The registrar may decide— what is to be included in the public notice; and how many times the public notice is to be published; and how and when the public notice is to be published.
