### sec.173 What is a termination notice
A termination notice , in relation to a lease, is a notice given by a party to the lease that—
identifies the land subject to the lease; and
states that the party is terminating the lease on a stated day; and
is signed by the party.
The notice may, but need not, be in the approved form.
To remove any doubt, it is declared that this section does not limit or otherwise affect the ability of a party to sign by an agent.
(sec.173-ssec.1) A termination notice , in relation to a lease, is a notice given by a party to the lease that— identifies the land subject to the lease; and states that the party is terminating the lease on a stated day; and is signed by the party.

(sec.173-ssec.3) To remove any doubt, it is declared that this section does not limit or otherwise affect the ability of a party to sign by an agent.
- (a) identifies the land subject to the lease; and
- (b) states that the party is terminating the lease on a stated day; and
- (c) is signed by the party.
