### sec.81 Powers of board
The board has all the powers of an individual, and may, for example, do all or any of the following—
enter into contracts;
acquire, hold, deal with and dispose of, property;
appoint and act through agents and attorneys;
employ staff and engage consultants;
do anything else necessary or convenient to be done for the performance of its functions.
Without limiting subsection (1) , the board has the other powers given to it under this Act.
(sec.81-ssec.1) The board has all the powers of an individual, and may, for example, do all or any of the following— enter into contracts; acquire, hold, deal with and dispose of, property; appoint and act through agents and attorneys; employ staff and engage consultants; do anything else necessary or convenient to be done for the performance of its functions.
(sec.81-ssec.2) Without limiting subsection (1) , the board has the other powers given to it under this Act.
- (a) enter into contracts;
- (b) acquire, hold, deal with and dispose of, property;
- (c) appoint and act through agents and attorneys;
- (d) employ staff and engage consultants;
- (e) do anything else necessary or convenient to be done for the performance of its functions.
