### sec.112T Cancellation or suspension of approval
This section applies if, after considering the accepted representations for the show cause notice, the Minister—
still believes the ground exists to cancel or suspend the approval; and
believes cancellation or suspension is warranted.
This section also applies if there are no accepted representations for the show cause notice.
The Minister may—
if the proposed action was to cancel the approval—cancel the approval or suspend it for a period; or
if the proposed action was to suspend the approval for a period—suspend the approval for not longer than that period.
If the Minister decides to cancel or suspend the approval of the assessment scheme, the Minister must give the assessment entity notice of the decision and the reasons for the decision.
The decision takes effect—
on the day the notice is given to the assessment entity; or
if a later day is stated in the notice—on the later day.
