### sec.7.8 Requirement to give notices to subject officer’s lawyer
This section applies if—
a provision of this part requires or permits a person to give a notice to the subject officer; and
the person is aware the subject officer is represented by a lawyer.
The person must give the subject officer’s lawyer a copy of the notice given to the subject officer.
Failure to comply with subsection (2) does not affect—
the validity of the notice given to the subject officer; or
the person’s compliance with the provision mentioned in subsection (1) (a) .

(sec.7.8-ssec.1) This section applies if— a provision of this part requires or permits a person to give a notice to the subject officer; and the person is aware the subject officer is represented by a lawyer.
(sec.7.8-ssec.2) The person must give the subject officer’s lawyer a copy of the notice given to the subject officer.
(sec.7.8-ssec.3) Failure to comply with subsection (2) does not affect— the validity of the notice given to the subject officer; or the person’s compliance with the provision mentioned in subsection (1) (a) .
