### sec.7.38 Local transfer A local transfer is— a transfer to another position, at the same location in Queensland, that involves a change in the nature of the subject officer’s duties; or a transfer of the subject officer to a position in another location in Queensland if the transfer does not reasonably require the subject officer to— relocate the subject officer’s residence; or travel more than 40km by road between the subject officer’s residence and the location. A local transfer mentioned in subsection (1) may be imposed without the consent of the subject officer. Also, a transfer of the subject officer to a position in another location in Queensland is a local transfer if— the transfer reasonably requires the subject officer to— relocate the subject officer’s residence; or travel more than 40km by road between the subject officer’s residence and the location; and the subject officer consents to the transfer. s 7.38 ins 2019 No. 32 s 9 (sec.7.38-ssec.1) A local transfer is— a transfer to another position, at the same location in Queensland, that involves a change in the nature of the subject officer’s duties; or a transfer of the subject officer to a position in another location in Queensland if the transfer does not reasonably require the subject officer to— relocate the subject officer’s residence; or travel more than 40km by road between the subject officer’s residence and the location.
