### sec.821 Medical and dental procedures
This section applies if, immediately before the commencement, there is in force—
a consent to the performance of a medical or dental procedure given under the pre-amended Act, section 285; or
an order of a magistrate authorising the performance of a medical or dental procedure made under the pre-amended Act, section 290.
The pre-amended Act, chapter 8, part 3, continues to apply for performing the medical or dental procedure as if the amending Act had not been enacted.
Anything obtained under the consent or order may be dealt with or used as if it were obtained under a forensic procedure consent or forensic procedure order.
