### sec.74K Power to require motor vehicle to be produced This section applies if a police officer may— impound a motor vehicle under division 1 or 1A ; or immobilise a motor vehicle under division 1B . The police officer may require the owner or driver by notice in the approved form (a vehicle production notice ) to produce the vehicle at a stated place and stated time for impoundment or immobilisation. The time or place stated in the notice must be reasonable in the circumstances. If for any reason it is not practicable to give a vehicle production notice, the requirement may be made orally and confirmed by a vehicle production notice as soon as practicable. s 74K ins 2013 No. 15 s 16 (sec.74K-ssec.1) This section applies if a police officer may— impound a motor vehicle under division 1 or 1A ; or immobilise a motor vehicle under division 1B .
