### sec.53BI Causing an out-of-control event
A person commits an offence if the person—
has been refused entry to an event; and
engages in out-of-control conduct near the event; and
as a result of the person’s conduct, the event becomes an out-of-control event.
Maximum penalty—110 penalty units or 1 year’s imprisonment.
A person may be liable for an offence against subsection (1) even if another person’s conduct contributed to the event becoming an out-of-control event.
