### sec.528 Unlawful use of stored information
A person must not access information stored in QDNA or the ACC database ( stored information ) other than to perform a function of the police service or a function authorised under this chapter.
Maximum penalty—2 years imprisonment.
Subsection (1) does not apply to—
stored information that can not be used to discover the identity of any person; or
accessing information stored in the ACC database if the access is authorised under another law.

(sec.528-ssec.1) A person must not access information stored in QDNA or the ACC database ( stored information ) other than to perform a function of the police service or a function authorised under this chapter. Maximum penalty—2 years imprisonment.
