### sec.292 Cancelling authority affecting entry in participating jurisdiction’s register of births, deaths or marriages
This section applies if—
a chief executive officer cancels an authority for an assumed identity; and
there is an entry in relation to that identity in a register of births, deaths or marriages in a participating jurisdiction because of an order under a corresponding law of the jurisdiction.
The chief executive officer must apply for an order under the corresponding law to cancel the entry within 28 days after the day the authority is cancelled.

(sec.292-ssec.1) This section applies if— a chief executive officer cancels an authority for an assumed identity; and there is an entry in relation to that identity in a register of births, deaths or marriages in a participating jurisdiction because of an order under a corresponding law of the jurisdiction.
(sec.292-ssec.2) The chief executive officer must apply for an order under the corresponding law to cancel the entry within 28 days after the day the authority is cancelled.
- (a) a chief executive officer cancels an authority for an assumed identity; and
- (b) there is an entry in relation to that identity in a register of births, deaths or marriages in a participating jurisdiction because of an order under a corresponding law of the jurisdiction.
