### sec.929 Continuance of fees under 1923 Act
Subsection (2) applies if a fee (the existing fee ) for a matter relating to a type of authority under the 1923 Act (the corresponding matter ) is imposed under that Act.
Until a fee is prescribed for the corresponding matter for the corresponding type of authority under this Act, the existing fee is taken to be the prescribed fee under this Act for the corresponding matter.
Subsection (2) applies to a petroleum authority whether or not it—
was granted under this Act; or
is a converted petroleum authority.
Subsection (5) applies if—
under a converted petroleum authority, a fee (also the existing fee ) is imposed for a matter relating to the authority; and
the 1923 Act does not provide for a fee for the matter.
Until a fee is prescribed for the corresponding matter for the converted petroleum authority, the existing fee is taken to be the prescribed fee under this Act for the corresponding matter under this Act.
In this section—
fee includes application fee, annual or other rent, licence fee and petroleum royalty.

(sec.929-ssec.1) Subsection (2) applies if a fee (the existing fee ) for a matter relating to a type of authority under the 1923 Act (the corresponding matter ) is imposed under that Act.
(sec.929-ssec.2) Until a fee is prescribed for the corresponding matter for the corresponding type of authority under this Act, the existing fee is taken to be the prescribed fee under this Act for the corresponding matter.
(sec.929-ssec.3) Subsection (2) applies to a petroleum authority whether or not it— was granted under this Act; or is a converted petroleum authority.
(sec.929-ssec.4) Subsection (5) applies if— under a converted petroleum authority, a fee (also the existing fee ) is imposed for a matter relating to the authority; and the 1923 Act does not provide for a fee for the matter.
(sec.929-ssec.5) Until a fee is prescribed for the corresponding matter for the converted petroleum authority, the existing fee is taken to be the prescribed fee under this Act for the corresponding matter under this Act.
(sec.929-ssec.6) In this section— fee includes application fee, annual or other rent, licence fee and petroleum royalty.
- (a) was granted under this Act; or
- (b) is a converted petroleum authority.
- (a) under a converted petroleum authority, a fee (also the existing fee ) is imposed for a matter relating to the authority; and
- (b) the 1923 Act does not provide for a fee for the matter.
