### sec.925 Entry notices under Petroleum Regulation 1966, s 17
This section applies if a notice of entry under the Petroleum Regulation 1966 , section 17 is in force immediately before 31 December 2004 and the notice relates to a converted petroleum tenure or a replacement tenure.
On 31 December 2004—
the notice of entry is taken to be an entry notice; and
the entry notice is taken to have been given under chapter 5, part 2; and
the entry period for the entry notice is the shorter of the following periods to end—
the balance of the period of the notice of entry;
the period that ends 6 months after 31 December 2004.

(sec.925-ssec.1) This section applies if a notice of entry under the Petroleum Regulation 1966 , section 17 is in force immediately before 31 December 2004 and the notice relates to a converted petroleum tenure or a replacement tenure.
(sec.925-ssec.2) On 31 December 2004— the notice of entry is taken to be an entry notice; and the entry notice is taken to have been given under chapter 5, part 2; and the entry period for the entry notice is the shorter of the following periods to end— the balance of the period of the notice of entry; the period that ends 6 months after 31 December 2004.
- (a) the notice of entry is taken to be an entry notice; and
- (b) the entry notice is taken to have been given under chapter 5, part 2; and
- (c) the entry period for the entry notice is the shorter of the following periods to end— (i) the balance of the period of the notice of entry; (ii) the period that ends 6 months after 31 December 2004.
- (i) the balance of the period of the notice of entry;
- (ii) the period that ends 6 months after 31 December 2004.
- (i) the balance of the period of the notice of entry;
- (ii) the period that ends 6 months after 31 December 2004.
