### sec.887 Applications for which notice of intention to grant has been given
This section applies if, before 31 December 2004, the Minister gave the applicant a notice of intention to grant the applicant a 1923 Act ATP, subject to stated requirements.
The application is taken to be a tender, under chapter 2, part 1, division 2, for a proposed authority to prospect, made in response to a call for tenders for that proposed authority.
The closing time for the call is taken to have passed.
The applicant is taken to have been appointed, under section 39, as the preferred tenderer for the call.
The stated requirements are taken to be requirements made under section 40.
