### sec.857 Delegation by Minister, chief executive, CEO or chief inspector
The Minister may delegate the Minister’s powers under this Act to an appropriately qualified person.
The chief executive may delegate the chief executive’s powers under this Act to an appropriately qualified person.
The CEO may delegate the CEO’s powers under this Act to an appropriately qualified person.
The chief inspector may delegate the chief inspector’s powers under this Act to an appropriately qualified person.
The Taxation Administration Act 2001 , section 10 provides for the delegation of the revenue commissioner’s powers under a tax law, which includes particular provisions of this Act.

(sec.857-ssec.1) The Minister may delegate the Minister’s powers under this Act to an appropriately qualified person.
