### sec.819 Stay of operation of original decision
The reviewer may grant a stay of the original decision to secure the effectiveness of the internal review.
A stay—
may be given on the conditions the reviewer considers appropriate; and
operates for the period fixed by the reviewer; and
may be amended or cancelled by the reviewer.
The period of a stay under this section must not extend past the time when the reviewer decides the internal review.
The internal review affects the decision, or carrying out of the decision, only if it is stayed.

(sec.819-ssec.1) The reviewer may grant a stay of the original decision to secure the effectiveness of the internal review.
(sec.819-ssec.2) A stay— may be given on the conditions the reviewer considers appropriate; and operates for the period fixed by the reviewer; and may be amended or cancelled by the reviewer.
