### sec.479 Conditions for renewal application for other types of licence
The holder of a licence, other than a survey licence, may apply to renew the licence only if none of the following is outstanding—
an annual licence fee for the licence;
a civil penalty under section 424 or 455 for nonpayment of an annual licence fee;
interest payable under section 588 on the annual licence fee or civil penalty;
security for the licence, as required under section 488 .
Also, the application can not be made—
more than 60 business days before the end of the term of the licence; or
after the licence has ended.

(sec.479-ssec.1) The holder of a licence, other than a survey licence, may apply to renew the licence only if none of the following is outstanding— an annual licence fee for the licence; a civil penalty under section 424 or 455 for nonpayment of an annual licence fee; interest payable under section 588 on the annual licence fee or civil penalty; security for the licence, as required under section 488 .
(sec.479-ssec.2) Also, the application can not be made— more than 60 business days before the end of the term of the licence; or after the licence has ended.
- (a) an annual licence fee for the licence;
- (b) a civil penalty under section 424 or 455 for nonpayment of an annual licence fee;
- (c) interest payable under section 588 on the annual licence fee or civil penalty;
- (d) security for the licence, as required under section 488 .
