### sec.386 Requirement for joint interaction management plan
This section applies if—
a person (the operator ) proposes to be an operator of operating plant in the area of a petroleum tenure; and
activities carried out, or proposed to be carried out, at the plant may adversely affect the safe mining of coal in the area of a coal or oil shale mining tenement.
Chapter 9 , part 4 , division 5 , subdivision 1 applies to the operator as if—
a reference in the provisions to the operator of an authorised activities operating plant were a reference to the operator mentioned in subsection (1) (a) ; and
a reference in the provisions to the overlapping area were a reference to the area of the coal or oil shale mining tenement mentioned in subsection (1) (b) ; and
a reference in the provisions to the site senior executive were a reference to the site senior executive for the coal or oil shale mining tenement mentioned in subsection (1) (b) .

(sec.386-ssec.1) This section applies if— a person (the operator ) proposes to be an operator of operating plant in the area of a petroleum tenure; and activities carried out, or proposed to be carried out, at the plant may adversely affect the safe mining of coal in the area of a coal or oil shale mining tenement.
(sec.386-ssec.2) Chapter 9 , part 4 , division 5 , subdivision 1 applies to the operator as if— a reference in the provisions to the operator of an authorised activities operating plant were a reference to the operator mentioned in subsection (1) (a) ; and a reference in the provisions to the overlapping area were a reference to the area of the coal or oil shale mining tenement mentioned in subsection (1) (b) ; and a reference in the provisions to the site senior executive were a reference to the site senior executive for the coal or oil shale mining tenement mentioned in subsection (1) (b) .
