### sec.80O Notice of damage because of exercise of remedial powers
If a person exercising remedial powers damages land or something on it, the person must give the owner and any occupier of the land notice of the damage.
If for any reason it is not practicable to comply with subsection (1) , the person must—
leave the notice at the place where the damage happened; and
ensure it is left in a conspicuous place and in a reasonably secure way.
The notice must state—
particulars of the damage; and
that the owner or occupier may claim compensation under section 80P from the State.

(sec.80O-ssec.1) If a person exercising remedial powers damages land or something on it, the person must give the owner and any occupier of the land notice of the damage.
