### sec.148 Other rights of action not affected Nothing in this Act shall be construed to take away or prejudicially affect any right of action which any person may have for any loss or damage sustained by the person by reason of any mining operations carried on pursuant to the Mineral Resources Act upon private land, other than for loss or damage for which compensation is payable under this Act. s 148 amd 1995 No. 22 s 3 sch ; 2004 No. 26 s 65
