### sec.134 Delegation by Minister or chief executive
The Minister may delegate the Minister’s powers under this Act to—
an appropriately qualified public service officer or employee; or
an appropriately qualified contractor carrying out activities, relating to the administration of this Act, for the department.
The chief executive may delegate the chief executive’s powers under this Act to a person mentioned in subsection (1) .
In this section—
appropriately qualified includes having the qualifications, experience and competence to exercise the power.
